The 10,000-Year Clock

The Long Now Foundation inspires me.

The organization wants to construct a clock that can last for several thousand years. The reasons behind the strange timepiece are beautiful and mysterious, but what I like most about The 10,000-Year Clock is that it sends a strong message: Good things take time.

My favorite fact? The clock will tick once a year, not once a second.

I'm a fan of the slow build. But I promise it won't take 10,000 years for Wilfair's lovebirds to tick.

Thanks for the reassurance because as much as I love the slow burn, I don't think I've ever anticipated a kiss with such intense excitement as I feel for Fair and Gomery.

Carly! I've missed you! And I'm going to wrap this comment in a big, bright bow and put it under my pillow tonight, you sweet person, you.

Ha ha! So, I think it's safe to say that Fair hasn't been kissed yet, but what about Monty and Gomery? I know it was implied that Gomery had dated and I think Monty has, but Sutts refers to them both as old children. Just curious. Is this too spoilery to answer?

Carly. VERY interesting question. I'd love to know what, as Monty's first official Wilfair blog gf, your view is. What would be satisfying to see? I can't say much at this point -- spoilers and all that -- but I wouldn't want to not seize this moment and ask your feelings on the topic. I am heading in certain directions at the moment but I do want to give my awesome readers what they want, too.

If you want to drop me an email do, my info is at right. Thanks!

Okay, I will think about it more and then email you. I have mixed feelings about Monty's possible romantic history, lol. So I'll organize my thoughts and let you know;)

This is why I'm asking! Yes, I know what you mean about mixed feelings. No, I don't know your mixed feelings, yet, but sometimes when I'm thinking about these things I have conflicting wants for the characters. Maybe that helps in writing them? I'll hope that is so.
Looking forward to your email!

Carly: Got and love your email. Letting it settle in my mind for a day and then I will definitely write back. Thank you for sharing your interesting thoughts! I can't even tell you.
