Thank You

I love my blog peeps.

Yeah, I said "peeps."

Thanks for letting me know what you'd like to see more of. Awesome. In all honesty, I am so happy to do more of the "Cars" and "Breakfast"-type posts. They help me think about the stories in new ways, too! Exclamation points!

I'm also glad you like knowing what else Fair & friends are up to, too. Truth be told I do think quite a bit about what they do outside of the stories.

Have a great weekend, and if there's anything else you'd like to see, ping me. You're the best!

Haha! When I hear "peeps" I think of marshmallow peeps. Squishy yellow chick and pink bunnies could be reading the blog, you may never know.

Googling "peeps" I found a marshmallow peep martini so you can toast to your peeps with a peep.

Now that is an unusual cocktail! I love strange things sitting on the side of my glass. Or in it. There's a restaurant here that puts a giant crab claw in their Bloody Marys. I sometimes like to make the claw talk, much to my dining companions', uh, bemusement.

Truth be told, I like to animate inanimate objects that happen to be sitting nearby -- salt shakers, checkbooks -- and make them have little conversations and dramas. I'll build whole little worlds around the sugar dish and coffee pot.

Charming? Or totally not? I guess it depends on my audience.

That is, if my audience is charmed. Or merely patient. :)

Charming! What kind of voice does a crab claw have? I would be tempted to use it as a castanet.

Oh, I do too. It helps me get to know them better. I interview all my characters and write from other POV's in my head to help my MC! Your blog is awesome Alysia and I'm happy to be one of your peeps :D

Victoria! Thanks for the blog hello and insight into how you work. Love it. Oh, PS -- I know we've been talking on Twitter but I've hopped off for a few days. I've gotten two viruses in a row! Erg. Going to try and break the cycle. If you need me pls. feel free to ping me here.

Erika, you are the nicest! Your support means a lot.

Oh, and Bess: A crab claw has a very growly voice. Deep and low. I like the castanet idea!

I was wondering about the twitter, lol. We featured you this month on the NA blog and people were messaging us that your twitter account wasn't working, haha! Check out your post on the blog today!

It looks amazing! Thank you, Victoria, and thank you NA Alley! I'm grateful and honored.

So sorry about the Twitter spam. It has been frustrating. The last time it happened some great readers had just followed me and they got spammed like a day later. I was embarrassed. :/ Not quite the welcome I wanted! Anywho, no biggie in the grand scheme. Just figured I'd take a Twitter break for a bit and hang out at this blog and Facebook.
