Thanks, Forever Young Adult!

Forever Young Adult gave me my first break with the Wilfair series and I'll never, ever, ever forget that. I mean, years from now I'll probably be phoning them, twisting the phone cord, coyly asking "say, whatcha doin'?" and Forever Young Adult'll be like "Alysia! You call us too much! We're happy you appreciate us, but go out and have a life!"

Seriously, they've been incredibly nice and generous, is the upshot. Unbelievable, really. And I'm so grateful they've written about "Stay Awhile" -- hooray! Here's the review.

I concur Erika! I've read a good bunch of things based on their reviews - which are dependable hilarious. Plus, they led me here for which I am forever grateful.

I don't know that I would have found this sunny corner of the internet if not for Erin and FYA. And how cool is it that her final review is for Stay Awhile?! Though I'm sad to see her go, you can't ask for a better swan song. I hope she comes out of retirement just long enough to do a review of Fairwil, when the time comes.

Erika: I know, their style is so distinctive. Definitely a fan.

bess: I remember getting your note not long after the "Redwoodian" write-up on FYA and being like "What. The. What. This person is writing me!" The thoughts I think are obviously so deep and multi-prismed, but that was basically my first reaction. Thank you again, so, so much, for dropping me a line!

Nikki: I'm sad to see her go, too. She is wickedly funny and spot-on in her reviews. And I'm so happy she took a chance on La Vida Wilfair. It changed everything for this little world. I'll never forget her kindness. Or the kindness of the people who've come here via FYA.
